This video [05:25], published by the National Portal of Museums in Israel, offers a brief overview of the life and art of the “Land of Israel” artist, Nahum Gutman (1898 –1980). His art depicts the early 20th century pioneering life in the land of Israel, and is showcased in the Nahum Gutman Museum of Art, in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Thanks to the efforts and funding of Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund and other foundations, the historical building, the Hebrew Writers’ House, was restored and transformed into the Nahum Gutman Museum of Art.
