This music video features the Shira Chadasha Boys Choir’s song about Jerusalem, an emotive melody for Psalm 125:1-2. These verses, presented below in Hebrew and English, compare God’s devotion to His people the mountains surrounding Jerusalem. When looking out over the panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Armon Hanatziv ridge, to the south of the Old City, one can see this verse come to life through the topography of the city, with the Temple Mount to the north, the Mount of Olives to the east, and Mount Zion to the west.
Psalm 125:1-2
They that trust in the LORD are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people, from this time forth and for ever.
